By using AniCat, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Description of service
AniCat is an anime catalog and tracker that aggregates information from external sources (Shikimori, MyAnimeList, AniList) and links to video hosted by third-party providers (Kodik, MoonAnime). AniCat does not store, host, or distribute video content itself.
Your account
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your password confidential. One account per person. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
Acceptable use
Prohibited: automated scraping of the site outside the official API, attempts to bypass rate limits, posting illegal content in reviews or comments, and any action that disrupts the site for other users.
Content
Reviews and comments you publish remain yours, but you grant AniCat a license to display them on the site. Anime metadata (descriptions, images) comes from Shikimori/MyAnimeList/AniList and belongs to their respective rights holders; video is provided by third-party providers and is not owned by AniCat.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is". AniCat does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of video from third-party providers and is not responsible for the content hosted on their servers — questions about a specific video should be directed to its source.
Limitation of liability
AniCat is not liable for any damages arising from use of the site, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Termination of access
We may restrict or block account access for violations of these terms.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
